The Open Water Diver course is the first course equivalent to any Level 1 from other diving organization. It allowed you to dive with a buddy down to a maximum depth of 18m. The course is set on 2 or 3 days with theory part that can be done before coming to Phuket.

Requirements Before Getting Started?
Basically, anyone in good health and with basic water skills can obtain the certification Open Water Diver.
Kids between 10 to 14 year can also join the course with a special program called the Junior Open Water diver.
Age minimum : 10 years old

What Will You Do?
During the Open Water Diver course, you will learn the basics of scuba diving. The course takes a minimum of 3 days.
- Complete a theory session that covers 5 chapters and answers some Quizz.
- Practice diving skills in a Swimming pool to gain confidence and get used to the equipment.
- Complete and log 4 Dives in open water (sea) and pass the final exam.

What Can I Do After?
Congratulations! you are now Open Water Diver and you can now enjoy diving with your buddy at any places up to 18m max depth and apply the technics you have learned in this course.
You are now able to plan and register your non-decompression dives in open water in the same conditions you been trained and using appropriate equipment.
You can purchase some diving equipment, get scuba cylinder and other services.
